A Longing Fulfilled...
Hope deferred makes the heart
sick,
but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.
Proverbs 13:12
The picture illustrates this scripture
- a castaway hoping to attract the attention of a ship in the
distance, while birds nearby are feasting on the fruit of a tree.
The guitar with one string symbolises hope - even though all
other strings may be broken, so long as there is the string of
hope there will be a tune to play.
A longing fulfilled can mean many things
for many people - when we look at the Bible we read of individuals
who placed their hope in God and were not disappointed, the very
fact they trusted the Lord made it that much the sweeter when
their prayers were answered in the fullness of time.
Friend - is there something you hope for?
spent years waiting for? don't be discouraged - God has an answer
for you - placing your hope in God means a great deal and you
will be blessed if you put your trust in Him.
