"Behold, I stand at the
door and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door,
I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."
Revelation 3:20 KJV
The words of this promise are a
blessing to all who seek after Jesus....to the weary thirsty
soul cast down by troubles, this precious promise is a source
of assurance, hope and pathway to knowing Christ....here Christ
is promising to make His abode with us..if we are willing to
recieve Him.
It's one of those statements which
is not a maybe or a perhaps....it's a wonderful promise made
by the risen Christ.
Many doubt God and the Bible...but
have never taken Christ at His word, but with this promise every
athiest or unbeliever have an opportunity of finding the God
of the Bible....there is plenty enough evidence if we take God
at His Word.
I thank God Almighty, He brought
me to that place where I was willing to respond...tired of striving,
tired of having my own way, a miserable sinner....I was ready
to receive the risen Christ and found Him....a glorious reality!
No Devil in hell or Angel in heaven
can deny the wonder of God's love and that He comes to all who
willingly open their door to Him.
For all who read this who have
not experienced this wonderful reality - please take Christ at
His Word today and invite Him into your hearts.
