Ruth Armbruster from Canada, sent me the scripture from Isaiah 58:11 this morning, it got me thinking.....

The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Isaiah 58:11

Following on from last weeks picture the theme of water is continued.....

The Lord Jesus has opened the gates to a special garden, the fountain of Life is here for all who enter in!

For one moment, picture a desert, all around people trying to quench their thirst from the things of this world, finding they are thirsty again... not far away is a walled garden - it only has one entrance...it's gates have been opened by the Lord Jesus Christ and can only be entered through Him by faith. It's the Father's Garden - a garden of prayer and relationship, a place of peace and joy - living water welling up to eternal life, we shall never thirst if we drink the water Jesus offers.

And we shall be like this well-watered garden if we spend time with our Heavenly Father, we shall have a spring whose waters never fail, to keep the garden moist and green even though desert is all around.
